ANGC is located on the Station at the Joint Service Signal Unit (Cyprus) and consists of 9 holes and (17 Tee Boxes) which will challenge any golfer with a sense of humour and a love of the game. Although far from the Best course on the island, it certainly has an unrivalled reputation for being the most sociable with any new members made to feel extremely welcome. The club consists of Military and Civilian personnel as well as a healthy number of ex-pats. During the golfing season (October-May) there is an extensive number of Island wide as well as club competitions which are always very well supported. These include Inter-Clubs which involves one trip during the season to all participating Clubs, these are extremely popular social occasions and transport is provided, it also gives newer members the chance to travel and play the other military courses on the island. During the closed season when the weather is too hot for competitive golf the club still runs its Tuesday (Ladies) and (Thursday) Gents “Ball sweep”, this is a friendly 9 hole stableford competition and is well attended throughout the year.
